The Upstate Upgrade is a portfolio of more than 70 projects, ranging from the large and complex line rebuilds listed above to substation rebuilds and smaller technology deployments. Additional projects include:
- Construction of new substations in Brighton (Monroe), Canajoharie (Montgomery), Johnstown (Fulton), Leyden (Lewis), Lockport (Niagara), Manheim (Herkimer), Orwell (Oswego), Watertown (Jefferson).
- Rebuild and upgrade substations in Buffalo (Erie), Fine (St. Lawrence), Leray (Jefferson), Leyden (Lewis), Malone (St. Lawrence), Orwell (Oswego), Rotterdam (Schenectady), Van Buren (Onondaga), and Verona (Oneida).
